After listening to so many horror stories of artists being mistreated by individuals who call themselves managers I felt it was a disgrace, and something should be done about it.  I constantly came across very talented individuals who, I truly believed have the talent to break into the music industry.

But something was missing a label that truly had integrity, honesty, and operated with excellence.   The more stories I heard of an artist manager taking large sums of money from them and not delivering on the promise the sicker I became to my stomach.

The AWM Records label commits itself to doing business with the artist’s best interest at heart.  We believe there are too few labels that are committed to setting a standard in the entertainment industry.   Being a CEO comes with hard work and diligence.

The history of Abundant Waters Management began on August 15, 2005 when I began the journey of experiencing a ruptured brain aneurysm.  During this period I went from being a fully functioning individual to an individual who took 2 years to recover.  During the two year period much time was spent in quiet meditation, prayer, exercise, therapy, and reading scripture.   It was during this period the verse St. John 7:38 “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”  This verse became alive within my spiritual being and it for me it meant abundant waters.   I did not have a clue what abundant waters was going to be or what it would develop into.

I could no longer work full-time, so I applied for social security disability insurance and was approved.  I found myself trying to adjust from being a working individual to an individual with an enormous amount of time on her hands.  I began to look for ideals and ways to fill my empty day.  My work history included working with computers so I am very proficient with the computer.  I had worked as a Mortgage Broker, an Assistant to Vice President of Hibernia Bank (now Chase Bank), along with a considerable amount of experience with radio hosting and television interviewing.

I found myself surfing the net for ways to make money at home.  And what I found was an overload of work-at-home frauds and internet “gurus.”  It was not long before I started to look for something more creative, and I came across the Blogtalkradio website.  I signed up as a host to begin a radio show and started the WSF Radio broadcast.   I had prior experience as a Small Business Owner so the concept of starting a business was not new to me.

In October, 2008 I marched into my accountant’s office and told her I was ready to begin a corporation.  We had discussed the idea many times in the past when I owned other businesses as a sole proprietor, she had always advised me of the need to incorporate.  We began the paperwork and named the corporation Abundant Waters Management, Inc.
